Cycle Oregon 2016

So the Inn of the Beachcomber and myself, Ted the owner, are exited about all off you folks coming to our little town. I live in Sisters and am an avid cyclist. Yup I will be hitting the old McKenzie and Three Creeks this spring to get my climbing legs in shape. Ok driving up to Agness and taking a crack at Bear Creek. I have signed up so will be there the for all the fun .I hope you enjoy the little video of Cape Blanco and get the feel for the beauty of the southern Oregon Coast. I will be working on special rates for the two nights. We will have a shuttle to get folks down to the Beachcomber. Oh we are on the beach with a pool and spa. Got room to camp up front on the beach and a shower. Will leave the Wave Bash porta potty down fron in case some folks want to get away from the tent city

A little about Gold Beach. We have 2 stoplights and I have no idea why. It’s a small town and easy to get around on a bike. We have a wine shop in the lobby and beer as well. Want to enjoy the Rogue River? We have paddleboards and can get you down to the Rogue if you need. You have to think about the jet boats and Jerry’s got a shuttle to make it easy.

I will have a rig or two to shuttle folks from the cycle Oregon campground to the Beachcomber. Every June we host the Pistol River Wave Bash with the American Windsurfing Tour and the wind tribe. Scot and myself have it on good authority we know how to throw a BBQ. And yes we will have the co2 fired up in the kegarator and something from Arch Rock Brewing and probably a keg of Boneyard’s IPA from Bend.

I have a cycling page www.oregoncoastcycling.com. Check it out The cool thing is, every ride has spectacular scenery Which you will all know when its over. The video on the home page is from Secret Beach which is south of town. South to Brookings is drop dead gorgous and the Carpenterville Hwy is a great ride. Here is a link to some great rides north and south, from the Beachcomber :
oregon coast cycling page

So here's a great idea. I have closed expedia out for the Cycle Oregon week. Any other time check out the Expedia rates and call the front desk and we will take 18% off the room rate. Its what they get so call the front desk and tell them you are with Cycle Oregon and you want to take a crack at Bear Camp before you get here. Just an idea. See you soon. Ted
